Company Profile

Since the late 1980's we have been manufacturing stainless steel repair clamps. Over this time we have invested in the company's growth to become a modern, well equipped firm.

Our repair clamps are used world-wide in many different applications such as gas and water distribution, waste water, water purification plants in mining and even on ships. However, at Tracon International, although we do business on a global scale, we focus our activities at a local and individual level. The people within our company are of primary importance to us; the quality of our products and services to you draws on the skills and experience of our craftsmen, and the enthusiasm of all who work here.

About our products

Our repair clamps are 100% stainless steel, AISI 304 or AISI 316, and are used for emergency and permanent repairs of holes, cracks, pitting or breaks in pipes. The standard range is from DN15 to DN600, but we can also manufacture larger sizes. The NBR gasket has a waffle structure to give a firm seal to irregularities on the pipe surface. EPDM and Viton gaskets are also available. The bolts are Teflon (PTFE) coated and protected with plastic caps. All parts are welded by robot to ensure consistent precision and high quality. After welding, the repair clamps are 'passivated' - chemically treated to obtain a high resistance to corrosion. During production process we constantly checks the quality of the clamps. The size of the clamp is always marked clearly by stamping the diameter range in the plate. The tapered ends of the NBR gasket are sprayed with silicone for easier installation. Pressure tests are carried out every week and finally all clamps are individually inspected by hand. For these reasons you are assured of the one aspect of Tracon International's stainless steel clamps you have always considered essential quality.

In keeping environmental concerns, Tracon International breaks new ground with the innovation of the NG repair clamp. This exclusive design is equipped with cast stainless steel (A2) lugs and therefore requires no welding and no chemical treatment to passivate the clamps. The production process is environmentally friendly, without compromising on quality.

At the beginning of 2009 we entered a brand new production facility in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands.
